Acid Black 2 appearance is black shining granular. This dye demonstrates effortless solubility in water as well as alcohol. When it is dissolved in water and ethanol, it adopts a shade of blue-violet;When introduced to concentrated sulfuric acid, it assumes a blue hue. upon the dilution of sulfuric acid, the color changes to purple, resulting in a clear precipitate.upon the addition of sodium hydroxide (NaOH), a dark purple precipitate is formed.
